Why we built 7NINE77.

A note from Alexandra Pohl, Founder & CEO.

I have spent the last two decades on the operating side of things that move — cars on Toyota lines, hydraulic packages at Danfoss, and federal capital programs across the United States. What every one of those systems taught me is that reliability is not a feature. It is the entire product.

Private aviation, at the industry level, has never been run this way. It has been treated as a luxury business, priced like a luxury business, and — quietly — operated like a hobby. Aircraft sit. FBOs charge for concrete they don't upgrade. Dispatch reliability is not measured out loud because when it is, the numbers embarrass the industry.

7NINE77 is our attempt to fix that. Not one link at a time. All of it, at once, inside a single platform.

The twelve funds — fleet, FBOs and fuel, airport real estate, cargo and general aviation, aircraft leasing, aviation technology, medical aviation, pilot training, parts and MRO, advanced air mobility, insurance, and sustainable aviation fuel — are not twelve strategies. They are twelve nodes on the same operating diagram. Fleet consumes fuel. FBOs sell fuel. Training seats supply pilots. MRO catches the aircraft on rotation. Insurance covers the whole thing. When one fund moves, the others feel it.

That is what I mean when I say we intend to run aviation like an airline. Airlines discovered — long before private aviation did — that the only way to make the math work at scale is to industrialize the operation. Standard turn times. Centralized dispatch. Fleet-wide safety management. Data on every hour, every leg, every squawk.

Our LPs do not pay a management fee to sit and wait for that operating discipline to arrive. It arrives on day one. Every fund carries a preferred return of 8%, a carry of 20%, and a 100% GP catch-up — clean, uniform, and negotiated once. Every fund carries its own Operations Fund and Reserve Fund alongside it. There is no fee stack, no side pockets, no games.

I built 7NINE77 with a small group of people who have flown these routes, worked these tarmacs, and financed these deals. If you invest with us, you will hear from that team — not from a middle layer.

We're building slowly, we're building quietly, and we're building for the next thirty years.
